RECYCLING AND AGGREGATE

A large pink construction machine in a quarry, crushing rocks with a conveyor belt system, under a clear blue sky.

WHY RECYCLE?

Materials like sand and gravel can be manufactured by breaking down recovered concrete and asphalt into usable particles.

Using these recycled alternatives in place of newly mined aggregate helps divert construction waste from landfills and significantly reduces the overall environmental footprint, lowers energy and water use, and eases the resource demand of building projects.

AGGREGATE

Photos are representative and may not reflect the exact product.

  • Close-up of a dirt surface with small to medium-sized rocks scattered across it.

    Base Rock

Recycled base rock is made by crushing old concrete or asphalt into a reliable sub-base. It’s used under roads, driveways, and foundations to give stable, long-lasting support. Using it cuts landfill waste, reduces the need for new quarried stone, and often lowers project costs while matching the performance of standard base materials.

Class II AB ¾“ State Spec

  • Close-up of two types of asphalt surfaces, one lighter and rougher, the other darker and smoother.

    Sand

Recycled sand is a practical, affordable alternative to natural sand for pipe bedding, landscaping, backfill, and concrete mixes. It matches natural sand’s performance while cutting landfill waste and reducing mining impact.

3/8- Crusher Sand and Fine Non-Spec Bunker Sand

  • Close-up view of gray crushed rocks or gravel.

    3/4" Drain Rock

Recycled drain rock comes from processed concrete or asphalt and is chosen for specific drainage needs. It’s ideal for drainage systems, septic fields, landscaping, and other places where water flow and filtration matter. Reusing these materials saves resources, reduces waste, and provides a dependable, cost-effective option for many construction projects.

Class I Type B Perm (¾“ Drain Rock)

  • Close-up of sandy beach with footprints.

    Cutback

Cutback or cold patch material are an asphalt often used to provide a smooth transition of the thick steel trench plates that cover active trenches in streets. When a project is completed, cutback can easily be removed without causing damage to the asphalt roadways. Additionally it can be reused, for any temporary transition or trench capping in a roadway. Bulk bag available for additional $25.

  • Sand with multiple footprints and small pebbles scattered across the surface.

    3/4 CON mix

Our ¾ con mix is a virgin material made of the correct ratios of rock and sand, when mixed with the desired amount of cement makes the perfect concrete.

  • Sand with various footprints and small particles scattered across the surface.

    3/8 Con Mix

Our 8 con mix is a virgin material made of the correct ratios of rock and sand, when mixed with the desired amount of cement makes the perfect concrete.
